    Also fits the T7i's near twin, the Canon EOS 77D

    My tripods are fitted with Arca-compatible clamps so I needed a quick release plate or L-bracket for my new Canon EOS 77D. I dug around the internet and basically nothing was available for the 77D. Eventually I found a USA made dedicated Arca-compatible plate from Acratech, model Canon T7i 2207. The 77D and T7i have identical body measurements so I figured the dedicated T7i plate would fit. And, indeed, it fit like a glove: the anti-twist fingers are perfectly matched to the contour of the 77D bottom edge with battery door functions uncompromised. So I’m a happy camper: perfect fit, smooth contours and works well in my clamps. Acratech really should list this plate for both the T7i and 77D.
