Acratech Panoramic Head can be used like a Long Lens Head
Our Panoramic Head is designed as a multi-row panoramic head that also works well as a long lens head. The large degree scale on the tilt axis and the adjustable zero pointers on the pan axis make multi-row panoramas very quick and easy. The indexable quick release rotates so you can attach a camera body or a long lens with a tripod collar directly to the head.

Panoramic Head
First, I only gace 4 stars as I have only had the head for 2 weeks. In that time I find it superb in functionality and have enjoyed it and how well it works while in the feild. I suspect , with more time with the head I'd go to 5 stars , once I get fully used to it. In conjunction with the Nodal rail it provides an excellent base from which to shoot multi row Panos. It is a good compliment to my GXP Ballhead and I carry them both ( weight of the Pano head is minimal fro the bang you get!). As with the GXP Ball head, and the Nodal rail the build is exceptional, sturdy and with precise engraved markings that ensure the shot(s) will be on point. My experience with the Pano head and the GXP and Nodal have been exceptional and FULLY satisfying! Well done .

Acratech Panoramic Head
Without doubt the best tripod head you will ever buy, it's expensive but worth it will be the last one you ever buy. I've got mine on a iFootage TC7 Fastbowl that has a leveling head in it. Build quality is 10/10, it's so well thought out and it's everything you will ever need in a tripod head

Fantastic Panoramic Head
The Acratech Panoramic head is a beautifully machined piece of equipment that is equally adept in function. This head allows for precise aim and base rotation. There is absolutely no creeping of any kind once set. It's sturdiness along with a good tripod ensure vibration free long exposures. In addition I feel safe securing my $7,000 camera/lens combo on it. This head along with the Acratech leveling base are now my permanent tripod set up even when shooting portraits in the studio. In my 20 years of shooting it's one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Perfect head
This head is perfect for my nightscapes images. At 3 am at 9000 ft in the mountain by freezing temperatures with wind you need such a good tool to ease your Milky way panorama. And it is not heavy.
