Recently the students from South El Monte High School came over to visit our facilities. They were part of Project Lead the Way (PLTW). PTLW is an organization that helps high school students get involved in manufacturing, engineering and design. We were able to show the students the processes that are involved in the manufacturing of our products. The students were able to see everything from the original design drawings to the CNC machining operations to the final products, including our Acratech Ballheads. They were a great group of kids and we enjoyed having them visit.
The rise in popularity of photography made room for growth in the market for tripods and other photography equipment.These days you can go to a local store to purchase generic tripod heads at a low cost but it does not come without serious draw backs.
