Still useful but...
...the machining quality and surface treatment are not as good as it used to be (I bought exactly the same lens plate years ago so I can compare the two). However, thanks to Acratech for providing a large array of Arca-Swiss style plates.

Perfect for Panasonic 100-400mm lens
I got this plate for my Panasonic-Leica 100-400 lens. I ordered it directly from Acratech because I have their also excellent GPs ballhead. The plate fits the lens perfectly and the lip keeps the lens from rotating on the plate. Together, the ballhead works beautifully as a “gimbal” head for this combination. I could not be more pleased than to be taking this kit on a safari later in the year. I anticipate some easy handling with a light setup!
