We have been doing some cleaning up around the shop and we found this giant quick release clamp that I designed and manufactured about 10+ years ago. This giant quick release clamp is for the FLIR (forward looking infrared) cameras that are used for night vision on military and police aircraft and helicopters. The angled slots between the holes are for safety wires and the holes in the knobs are so the knobs can be clipped together to prevent loosening. The smaller clamp is our standard size Arca-Swiss compatible Quick Release Clamp.
